My memory of my first visit to Inokashira-koen would be of Ghibli Museum and of getting lost inside this large park filled with beautiful autumn colours. Now that I’m living in Japan, I have actually been visiting the Kichijoji area every Sunday for church… And suddenly, the park is becoming our Sunday walking spot. {Japan Winter} Kichijoji, Tokyo: Inokashira Park & hipster vintage stores

We visited suburbs around Tokyo for our second visit to Japan last December 2013. One area that caught our attention was Kichijoji. After walking around Ghibli Museum (located between Mitaka and Kichijoji), we decided to take the long way home… to return to Kichijoji Station via the Inokashira Park.
