We moved to Japan! Tokyo, to be exact.
Yes, after a year of considering and carefully planning, we finally made the move on Feb 29 of 2016 (three weeks ago)! So from now on, it’ll be easier for me to blog about all-things-Japanese and update you with the latest and greatest from the land of the rising sun (or is it “the land of the rice and sun”?)
We celebrated our 4th anniversary earlier this month and I also celebrated my birthday just a few days ago (and even got some pressies yay!). Some of our friends were here to “farewell” us, so we had a mini-holiday too! Yes, life has been pretty sweet. So far, it’s everything I expected (the good bits and the interesting bits), but it’s been such a fun and nerve-wrecking ride to move to a country where you can’t speak the language!
I have been wanting to update the blog much sooner, but we had some technical difficulties with the blog plus I was also still roaming around in hotels and AirBnBs. In fact, we just moved yesterday!
