We need new ideas. We need to work together. And it’s gonna be a challenge.
Creativity is about storytelling. And expression. And passion. And heart.
Now creativity is digital. There are entire generations that have grown up in the digital world. Creativity is more important than ever.
But the tools have changed. Students and teachers are doing amazing things; in science, in business, in medicine, in education and in things we haven’t even thought yet.
Digital expression is the new literacy. Creativity is the new fluency.
Learn the tools.
Because creativity is not an elective anymore, it’s our future.
Well done Adobe! :) I love this ad. I love the fact that Adobe understands creativity. And I love the emphasis on creativity and digital. The intersection of the two is where my passion lies. Surely, we can take a short course of Adobe’s creative tools. But then.. Do you think “creativity” is something that you can learn or train? Or is it something that, if you’ve got it, then you’ve got it sort of thing?
I believe creativity is not for the selected few. We can definitely learn or train ourselves to be more and more creative! :) And it comes in so many different forms.
I think that’s quite exciting because it means that each one of us has the potential to be creative and to be innovative in whatever fields we’re in.
I also love this video and have it on my blog too! I believe there is creativity and curiosity within each of us …. it may be deep and hard to find for some, but it is there! We may not even realize how many things we do that involve creativity and creative thinking …. (for example: brainstorming required creative thinking). The creativity that we each have can be encouraged, developed, and supported to allow us to do even more!
Yes! A lot of people who say they are not creative might only associate creativity with “making pretty art” but that is not the case. It’ll be great to see people realising their creative potential – and as you said Melissa, to encourage and support everyone to be more creative! Thanks for your comment xx
