Last year, I celebrated my birthday in Japan. In fact, I spent half of it in Kyoto and the other half in Tokyo. And it wasn’t just any other trip, it was the honeymoon. What a birthday, huh! So this year, I decided that I should re-live my Japan birthday celebration by going around Melbourne and doing some very typical Japanese things. It was heaps of fun as the hubby and I walked (and drove) around town to find the most Japanese things that we could find and enjoyed our little date.

We documented our adventure…

And that was how I celebrated my birthday with my lovely husband. It was seriously fun. I suggest every one of you to do a themed birthday (or any other celebration) once in a while. For those wishing to experience Japan in Melbourne, I’m sure you will also find this experience interesting!
